Apprenti Gua Sha, Agata Stone
Apprenti Organik Gua Sha in agata stone. Each one is different/one of a kind!
Gua sha is an ancient Chinese practice that is believed to promote the flow of "chi", or energy, through the skin. The technique involves gently rubbing the gua sha over the neck and face in an upward sweeping motion.
Theoretically, the pressure applied to the skin via the gua sha tool causes a level of friction that improves circulation and increases blood flow to the area, says Raman Madan, MD, a board certified dermatologist at Huntington Hospital in New York City. The belief is that increased blood flow can provide many benefits for the skin, such as increased collagen production, as well as reduced puffiness, hyperpigmentation, and muscle tension.
This massage technique helps move lymphatic fluids and dissipate muscle tension. This means better blood circulation and less puffiness. The increased circulation increases hydration for that coveted youthful glow, and it even helps the skin naturally purge the dirt and oils that cause blemishes.
