Rooted equally in both workwear and suiting - the Tenkan Wool Blouson draws inspiration from 1920’s Drizzler Jackets, as well as 90’s suiting and sportswear. Cut from Super 120 Suiting Wool and a suiting inspired Cupro lining, the full zip jacket features an articulated sleeve and shoulder, a double pendant zipper, as well as double entry pockets.

“Tenkan” in Japanese translates to a diversion of change of direction, referring to a pivot step in Martial Arts (Akido). We interpret this as a subversion of expectation in design inspiration, namely for this piece drawing cues from the world of tailoring.

Sizing: This jacket features a relaxed and cropped fit. We suggest taking your standard jacket size.
